Coopbots

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The prototype of "Coopbots" was a project in the 4th semester for which we had 4 weeks. A team of 1 producer, 4 artists and 2 programmers.

We had further support from external artists and programmers.

On this project, I took on the role of Assistant Tech Lead. I assisted the Tech Lead and was largely involved in the programming of the game.

Infos:

Coopbots, a video game in development, will be released as an Early Access title on Steam. This means it is available for public playtesting and feedback. The game has received notable recognition, including the Silvern Nail Award from the Art Directors Club Deutschland (ADC Award), highlighting its creative, artistic, and technical excellence.

 

Description:
2 cute robots on a treasure hunt in a mysterious sci-fi pyramid. Coopbots is a fun 2-player online co-op puzzle game. Players solve puzzles together and overcome platform elements to solve the mysteries of the pyramid and find a treasure or two.

Finished Prototypes

Sinphony of Hamelin

 

"Sinphony of Hamelin" was a project in the 7th semester for which we had 5 weeks. A team of 1 producer, 4 artists and 4 programmers. We had further support from an external sound designer. As additional support we also used some asset packs from the Unreal Market.

Here I took the role of the deputy tech lead. I helped out the tech lead and was largely involved in the programming of the game.

Description:


Sinphony of Hamelin is a Soulslike/Rogue-Lite whose setting is based on the Pied Piper saga from northern Germany. As a kidnapped child, the player returns home, but has to fight his way through the post-apocalyptic surreal Hamelin in resource-based battles, deal with his character's feelings of guilt and improve his skills as a result.

InSekten

 

 

 

 

"InSekten" was a project in the 6th semester for which we had 4 weeks. A team of 1 producer, 3 artists, 1 tech-artist and 2 programmers. We had further support from an external sound designer.

Here I took the role of the tech lead and managed and led the team of programmers

Infos:

InSekten, was presented at the GG Bavaria in Munich in February 2024, with a couple of other games that are stated as a prototype. The outstanding performance of the game has received notable recognition by a reporter named "Antonia Dreßler", who wrote an article on the PCGames platform. Antonia Dreßler mentioned the game as the "highlight" under the title "Future of Gaming".

In addition, the game was awarded first place in the prototype genre at the Games Festival 2024 (Computerspielakademie), highlighting its creative, artistic and technical excellence.

 

Description:

A sect of worshippers pray to the majestic wormhole. Your task as the cult leader is to help your cult grow and spread the news of salvation across the land. But to do so, you have to make momentous decisions every game day (and possibly sacrifice a few followers to the wormhole).

"Travelvoid" was a project in the 2nd semester for which we had 5 weeks. A team of 1 producer, 3 artists and 3 programmers.
Here I took the role of the tech lead and managed and led the team of programmers.

"Dungeon Tavern" was a 3rd semester project for which we had 5 weeks to complete. A team of 2 producers, 5 artists and 3 programmers. We had additional support from external artists and programmers.
